1) Price comes first!

A good and good value price will go a long way in China. This is probably the first piece of information they look for when they are shopping online.

5) Shoppers discover new e-tailers from Taobao

No surprise here. If you do not have the expertise and knowledge about the China market yet. It is a good idea to have your products sold on Taobao first to gain some awareness before you start your own full fledged website.

6) Comparison shopping stays strong but more going straight to e-tailers

The old traditional method of comparing prices, quality and other features still is strong in China but we are seeing more people going straight to the e-tailers website and buying from them. Loyalty is prevailing there then.

7) Thrill for new products not yet out in stores

Trend is moving away from price and people are so thrilled to be the first in the market to use a certain product before it is out in stores.
