Walking along the streets of Kuala Lumpur, I came across this restaurant which was using the ".Asia" domain name space. It is actually a pub/restaurant located near the Sunway Lagoon which is a theme park in Malaysia. Them using the domain name makes perfect sense since they have branches in Singapore and also in China. When entering their site, you have the choice to enter the different regional sites and see the offerings and special events going on there. They were able to get a good domain name which gives them excellent SEO rankings and it is easy to promote and remember. Using the domain name on their entrance, lets more people remember it and go back and share it on their social networking sites and also with their friends. It is becoming a trend now for eateries to go online so people can look at their menus, special events and make reservations too. A great domain name and a great bar too I must say.
