In the latest survey for online shopping done by MasterCard, the numbers were quite promising for the Asian region with the number of people shopping online increasing. The survey was done on 14 nations and most of them were from Asia. Online shopping has become essential to more than half of the respondents from China, South Korea, Japan, India and Thailand. An interesting category for online shopping in recent months have been in groceries. There has been an increase of around 20% with China accounting for most of this increase, Another interesting element was that not all people who browsed goods online would go ahead and proceed with payments but the rate of them browsing and buying has increased in some major markets like China and India.Most of the people do plan ahead when purchasing online and also there was an increase in making impulse purchases too which increased noticed in some major markets.
