Car Companies in Asia are making huge strides. Toyota Motor Corp.'s U.S. sales surged 32 percent in December and Hyundai Motor Co.'s soared 41 percent. These 2 deals made Asian automakers leapfrog U.S. competitors in annual market share for the first time. China also is going to overtake the United States for total car consumption very soon. The US and other Western nations have suffered a lot in the automobile industry, and the Economic crisis worsened the situation but also showed everyone how powerful Asian car companies are becoming, not only did they grow during the crisis, they posted record growths.
Just like the internet situation here in Asia, there is still tremendous potential because the cars have not reached all parts of the population yet and there is surely more to come. With India making cars which are both functional and economical, it is surely going to reach out to more people. China is doing the same and Asians are now looking to the West too, to sell their cars. People around the world will be going online to search information about cars from Asia soon and that is why going online is very important, espcially for products where customers read a lot about before buying.
