"The latest findings are positive for a stronger outlook of domestic consumption in 2010, and barring any unexpected shocks to the economy, we expect private consumption to continue to grow," Yuwa Hedrick-Wong, Asia Pacific adviser for MasterCard Worldwide, said in a statement. This is definitely good news for all involved in the eatery business, now it will have a rebound effect and they can spend more of marketing and improving their business because they know demand will be there.Asians have always had the philosophy to save more and keep more money in the bank but now the tide has changed. People are going out and spending more and enjoying life, it started when the governments gave out money for people to spend and it just kicked off from there. Now it seems people are spending a lot and websites will be important because people are going to go online and look for information about your place.
