You would think a big enough company with a well known brand would just have to do minimal marketing and people would come, a very strong pull factor but even these companies would resort to going online for certain situations. Samsung, a large company, wanted to promote their brand internationally with a particular emphasis on education consumers about their concept of "Digital Convergence". The idea was to have a viral campaign together with those on televisions to get clues and the winner would be able to get some gifts.

Web Guru, the company they asked for help had a very unique way to spread message further. Instead of people logging on and choosing which gifts they would like to get, it was their friends who chose for them which made the message spread further and the results were quite awesome. At the end, the 8 week long context got 110,000 contestants from all over the world. Samsung was able to get 70% of the contestants had their details down and could be contacted for further marketing campaigns.

Going online for marketing for every company, small or big is very efficient and worthwhile. It can be very cost effective to get your marketing campaign idea started and spread the message. The first thing with that is your company should have an online presence so people can go there and look for information and then the marketing campaigns can play a big part. Newer companies joining the market will find it easier getting a ".Asia" domain name since there are so many good names still out there and other benefits with Asia being the best market around.
